Oh jeez, it’s been like half a year since the last update post. And it’s not even because I wrote a new chapter. I really need to get better at this whole “consistent writing” thing, huh? Well, at least I’ve written something in the past six months — go check out Copper’s Journal if you haven’t already, it’s a log of a D&D campaign I’ve been playing in, with the other guys I now live with since I moved to my new place. Copper is dead now (spoiler) and I’m not writing a journal for my new character, but depending on what happens I may write a recap or side story if anyone is interested in what happened to her. Anyways, enough about that.

This is just a quick update to say that I’ve made a Chapter List with links to and from each chapter, so the story is a little bit easier to navigate. I’m not going to put in direct links from one chapter to the “next” until I actually have a semi-final order for the chapters to be in, or I start writing a lot more and it’s helpful for my own sanity.

Speaking of writing a lot more, the current plan is for me to start university next September, and I’d like to have a rough draft of the entire story finished and uploaded to here by that point. That’s a big commitment, but I think I can do it if I actually stick to writing a chapter each week as I planned once upon a time. I’m working part-time now, now I have a little bit more of a schedule and I’m slowly building daily routines, which hopefully will include writing. I’ve realized I’m a lot more productive when I sit in the food court of the nearby mall to write (that’s where I am currently), so who knows, this may actually work this time. We’ll see.

I really want to finish this story. I’m really proud of Earth C at Sunset (the Homestuck fanfic I wrote) and I would like another project like that to be proud of before I go for attempt #2 at getting a post-secondary education. Also, the Glitchtale S2 Finale just dropped a few days ago (go check it out it’s so good), which I’ve been following since season 1 episode 1 and is one of the projects that inspired me to start writing in the first place. It’s incredible to see Camila’s progress with that series, and I hope that one day I can look back at this website and see similar progression in myself.

Thanks for sticking with me. More updates to come!
